Why do the  gerontechnologies?

Gerontechnologies allow the elderly to maintain their autonomy or compensate for functional deficiencies. These are technical systems, technologies and solutions to help the elderly or caregivers with their daily activities.  

Innovations in the field of gerontechnologies aim to maintain or improve the health, autonomy, well-being or safety of the elderly.  

Innovations in the field of gerontechnologies constitute an essential axis of development of the Silver Economy.

Our projects  

The ROSIE project

​

• The object: Conduct a national inventory of the experiments of social robots in geriatrics to analyze them and understand their impact on different dimensions (clinical, organizational, economic, social, ethical, etc.)

​

Primary objective:  Carry out an international inventory and a meta-analysis of the use of social robots in geriatrics.

​

Secondary objectives: To provide feedback from the places that have conducted experimentation in France.

​

- Indications and patient profiles

- Appropriation conditions  

- Ground constraints

- Medico-economic evaluation

- Good professional practices
