Gerond'if, the Ile-de-France gerontopole, a participatory project
Gérond'if promotes research, innovation, evaluation, training and ethics in Île-de-France in the fields of geriatrics and gerontology.
This non-profit association brings together a community of players in research, care (at home, in hospitals, in medico-social establishments), training and business.
Gérond'if is at the service of players in the region to federate cross-disciplinary synergies in order to meet the challenge of the aging of the population.
It contributes to evaluating the actions carried out in terms of prevention, care, technical assistance and training of health professionals. Gérond'if scientifically measures the clinical, economic, ethical and practical aspects of these actions.
Gérond'if carries the DIM (area of major interest) longevity and aging labeled by the Regional Council of Île-de-France.
